This review is from: Too True (Paperback)
In this varied, thought-provoking and entertaining set of essays Blake Morrison pursues one of his favourite subjects: the fine line between truth and lies. Whether he is pursuing the young thief who has stolen his son's bicycle, discussing TS Eliot's much-maligned first wife, or movingly describing the Victorian archive of Barnardo's orphans, Morrison's sensitive and direct prose never fails to engage. If you enjoyed Morrison's achingly beautiful memoir of his father's life and death 'And When Did You Last See Your Father', you wil love this book.
