5.0 out of 5 stars A tricky matter
Quite a relief to find a funny, absorbing and light-hearted book about this tricky part of English puctuation - and one which allows children ample scope to explore it for themselves and to discover how meanings change when the apostrophe is incorrectly used.

3.0 out of 5 stars Spag Bol.
I bought the book as I like the others by Lynne, but the book description did not make it clear that it was a childrens cartoon book and not a novel in the form of the original Eats Shoots and Leaves.
This was quite dissapointing especially as it is quite thin and so not very good value for money.
Perhaps a better book for a teenager leading up to GCSE English...

Perhaps a better book for a teenager leading up to GCSE English than for an adult looking for a book to curl up with for a good read.

Super book. Lots of fun. Very accessible for a nine year old.

Rather pricey, though, for a 30-or-so page book.

I am a massive fan of Lynne Truss and love her Children's books that teach punctuation in a fun way. This book is not full of boring facts and literature but it cleverly uses pictures to illustrate how punctuation can make a difference. Good for adults too.
