4.0 out of 5 stars Great, just a little chunky., 21 Nov 2013
This review is from: UK Ambulance Services Clinical Practice Guidelines 2013 (Paperback)
This contains all of the information and guidance any practicing paramedic needs. However, my only gripe is simply that it has too much bulk to it. I much prefer the smaller version http://amzn.to/19LNHIZ as this fits easily into my duty bag.

It is what the book says, writing is smaller than I expected, but on a god note, it's written in a way you can understand, unlike some other text books I have read

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Reading, 28 Jun 2013

Dr T E Mallinson (UK, Coventry/London/Essex) - See all my reviews
This review is from: UK Ambulance Services Clinical Practice Guidelines 2013 (Paperback)
Fully updated and informed by multiple systematic literature reviews, this text contains the most evidence based pre-hospital care guidelines ever produced.

This edition contains new drug guidelines and significant changes to many treatment guidelines. Drug guidelines now include many more CBRNe medications as well as misoprostol, dexamethasone, ondansetron and tranexamic acid. New patient management guidelines provide background information on the condition in question and an easy to follow assessment and management table. Extended guidance is also now included covering minor illness in children.

These are essential reading for all practitioners working in the pre-hospital environment, particularly in the United Kingdom.

Conflict of Interest- I am a contributor to this book.
