3.0 out of 5 stars Second try rather better
The first edition of this title was a serious disappointment. The detail did not match the parallel series by the same publisher on Bomber Command losses. This revised edition contains enough fresh/additional material to make it worth buying to replace the previous effort.

very good obviously with a lot of aircraft to cover only a moderate amount on each incident. it did answer everything i needed to know on 3 crashes with the exception on all 3 of the squadron codes on the aircraft. some do have this info just not the ones i needed. overall i would buy them for ref if i hadnt already got a set. to me a must have item.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin!, 28 July 2014
By
Does what it says on the tin. Quite surprising for me anyway to see how relatively small the active force was at the time, and the limited number of squadrons and aircraft types involved in Uk Fighter a Command combat. Losses to ground fire were also a surprise.

I had to get used to the coloured cover. I assume that the other volumes will also appear in the future with a coloured cover. Otherwise there will be two kinds of books.
