5.0 out of 5 stars Tour de force - but amend forename please, Amazon!, 2 April 2011

Incorrect form of forename knocks this below the retrieval radar, but it's a superlative volume that leaves one wanting more (not so common with slim volumes of poetry as one might suppose)

Come to think of it, Woods might be just the chap to edit that anthology of contemporary British(?) anglophone(? tricky with so many Yanks) or world(??) gay poetry we stand so sorely in need of right now - but don't forget the girls - Kay, Duffy - Rich, Lorde, Hacker (and that's before we start; OK, maybe they get enough exposure). But GOOD poems/poets only please, Greg - no box-ticking.

This review is from: Eavan Boland Sourcebook: Poetry, Prose, Interviews, Reviews and Criticism (Paperback)
A great insight into this wonderful Irish woman's literary work and career...plus the bonus of reading her take on the context in which she grew and evolved. She is a strong and inspiring role model for any female poet, and for women in general.
