This review is from: Participation: The New Tyranny? (Paperback)
A very useful review of participatory techniques and their dangers which need to be understood in practice to make the most of participation that is meaningful. The analysis tends to be general and not specific to particular nuances between methods in a single type of approach, eg: different approaches in community sketch mapping. But as a critque it is very useful because it helps you ask the right questions. It analyses participation from various disciplines, which provides a clarity not usually given. Useful for theoretical review and developing practice.
