(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Ghosts of King Solomon's Mines: African Childhood Memoir (Hardcover)
Reading this book in 2007 it's hard to believe that it was written in 1991. I may be a little biased in saying that this book is excellent as I can relate to what he's talking about. But if you have an interest in Africa this book is vital reading. This book details problems that Africans are going through, from commonly known ones such as extreme poverty, to boredom and a worship of the Western lifestyle. The author is neither arrogant nor overbearing. He does not try to foster his advice on the reader, but recounts what he witnessed.
