3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting suggestions
This book does explain in some detail what really is autism and what signs might be shown by a person who has it. It also suggests strategies to use in the classroom to make it an ideal learning environment for someone with autism.

I brought this as I thought it might help us as my son has been diagnosed Autistic. Although, I have passed it on to my sister in law who works and teaches Autistic children as it's a bit 'over my head', she has learnt from it though.

I like this book because it tells you that children who are on the autism spectrum are children first. It says that the difficulties that these children have in an in social understanding, communication and play / imagination. Then it tells you how to do something about it. It has a few funny stories to tell and some nice cheerful drawings.
