My grandfather was a major who died from his injuries there. He was put into then same ambulance as another major mentioned in the book. I had hoped that there might be some mention of my grandfather as he was obviously fighting near where this other major was but sadly no. However I still enjoyed the book and it gave me a very good idea of what things were like there and...
