Galileo revealed what he observed through his improved version of a refracting telescope. He saw mountains and craters on the moon, four of Jupiters satellites, more stars than anyone else had ever seen before and he challenged the geocentric view of the solar system/universe thus agreeing with 'new' heliocentric view of Copernicus.
As a facsimile, this book reproduces the diagrams and text of the original 1610 edition in Latin.
