4.0 out of 5 stars Strike Back! Get 'em Reading With The Simpsons!
This is a cheap way to get a whole lot of Simpsons for a good price especially if you buy it second hand.
This is a bigger than Average slab of 4 of the Simpson Comics all in one.
A 126 page omnibus version containing Simpsons Comics '15, #16 #17 and #18 and makes this a really satisfying book of The Simpsons.

The stories are

3.0 out of 5 stars This really is a strike back in history for simpsons comics.
O.K. , this is how it happens, you wait for it for ages, you are really exited, and then it turnes out to be, Well i hate to say it, because, most simpsons comics are awesome, but BORING! It has four stories, as well as a load of little ones and only one of the stories would actualy get a high ranking with me, 'A Trip To Simpson Montain'. Basicly, if you have a load of...

Now the technical sell.
The really big pay off is that it these books gets kids reading.

As a Teacher I'm always trying to encourage children to read especially sad to say mostly boys who see reading as un cool and sadly they often have real problems reading so vicious circle. They fall further and further behind. The interest level goes too.

Now to comics. They look at the pictures follow the action then find that if they read the speech bubbles it makes it more interesting which leads to children valuing reading for enjoyment which can't be a bad thing.

Can it?

If you have a reluctant reader and these tend more to be boys then you can't do better than getting them a book that is 'cool' to read in front of their friends has a high interest level and is enjoyable.

It has four stories, as well as a load of little ones and only one of the stories would actualy get a high ranking with me, 'A Trip To Simpson Montain'. Basicly, if you have a load of money and just want anything, get this. However if you are surviving on pocket money rations, don't wast your money. Try another simpsons comic or just wait for them on TV!

This book was fun. it had four main and a few mini ones. thebest stories in it were theone with patty and selma losing theirjob and Bart and Lisa being stars on a tv channel. the chriatmas story was a paraodyofbevery hils 90210 and was kinda rubish. the stroywqith spring field going on a eight loss program was great. all in all if you like the simpsons or houmour in general you will love this as it has alll the humour and fun of the show.
