This review is from: Computer Graphics and Geometric Modelling: Implementation & Algorithms: Implementation and Algorithms: Implementation and Algorithms v. 1 (Hardcover)
The title says everything. You certainly have to buy both the books as the second one (Implementation and Algorithms) continuosly refers to the first (Mathematics) and the first is just a good maths book with chapters focused on specific topics (reading the book following the chapters has not much of a sense) but despite that these two volumes gives a wonderful insight of the processes behind Computer Graphics.

It doesn't deal with advanced topics such as fractals, or L-systems but i think it says everything on the basics (from display rendering to polygon generation).

Once you have read these volumes all the ways will be open!

(allow a couple of years, though)

:-D
