This review is from: The Complete Guide to Test Cricket in the Eighties (Paperback)
The world cricket ratings (that have had several names, now called the ICC player rankings) were first published in 1987. this book retrospectively shows the ratings that would have been calculated for all the players in all the test matches of the 80s. Facinating stuff and a great trip down memory lane. To be world class a player should have a rating of 850. Buy the book to see who was.
