The map is a must for anyone who wants to follow the Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way as there are no other signs for this route and the cycle way follows mostly small, less obvious roads. The map highlights the route and allso does a good job pointing out places of interest, difficult sections of the route, places to eat and so on.
The map is great for the Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way, however, it does not provide much information on the surrounding areas so altering the route can be difficult. For example, clear indication of the elevation is only given for hills directly on the Cycle Way. I would definitely recommend carrying an additional, detailed map of the surrounding area. Also: it is sometimes not entirely clear which road to follow on the map so a second map is helpful.
