5.0 out of 5 stars Harry Potter with a Christian ethos, 29 Jun. 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Amrach and the Paraclete (Paperback)
This book is a journey into the supernatural but, unlike JK Rawlings work, is Christian rather than pagan
Set outside time and space Amrach, the central character, sets out to raise an army for the Lion in an attempt to defeat the evil princes of Harag.
The book deals with redemption, forgiveness and has a strong pro-life messasge. It apparently sold out the entire first printing in just three months. It's controversial and powerful.

This review is from: Amrach and the Paraclete (Paperback)
A wonderful book it took me 2 days to read once started I couldn't put it downn it's beautifully written simple but confound I found it challenging as well as comforting

And reminded me that the Holy Spirit is always near waiting for me to talk to him and ask for guidance. I loved the charater Amrach although he failed at times to consult the Paracalete and got things wrong, the Paraclete was always there waiting for him to talk to Him So He could show amarach the right direction Although fictional it's very biblical and like the bible references at the back of the book
