Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very clearly written, a wonderful introduction to everyone's favourite best practises tarball.
It will give you a very easy and enjoyable walk through the choices made and why they were made, and why you might like to make different ones in your own projects.

If everyone read this book, the web would be much more consistent in quality of work.

Even if you choose not to use html5boilerplate because you are some kind of idiot, this book will put the tools in your mindbox that you need to start making standards compliant cross browser websites. And it will help to teach you to think that way.

Some of the class names that Divya chooses are a bit mental, but choosing them's her prerogative I suppose, and she was probably just intending to be very clear.

In closing, you really should be reading this book before you buy any PHP For Front-End Developers or Advanced CSS For Promiscuous Dressers or whatever. I really feel that you should have the correct and solid foundations that are laid down in this book before you start flapping around like an old tit using adjacent sibling selectors like you know the queen.
