5.0 out of 5 stars A must for all theatre studies enthusiasts., 29 Nov. 2000

If you think that 'vomitory' is something that you feel after drinking copious amounts of alcohol or after eating something well past its sell-by date, or that an 'Apache dance' involves men dancing around with feathers on their heads while making very strange war cries, then this book is definately for you.
This bag, or large pocket, sized book is a must for all theatre studies enthusiasts or those struggling to understand the strange jargon found in theatrical reviews, 'Green room' converstaions, or stage scripts.
The book clearly explains, in a dictionary style layout, the meanings of theatre jargon.
So if you still don't know your 'Aristotle' from your 'Exposition'I'd order this book today.

It was a really useful book. I keep it on my kindle for writing essays to use proper terminology in acting
