5.0 out of 5 stars Clear and concise
It's a very comprehensive and straighforward instruction manual for doing case study research. It's very clear and well laid out. Makes you want to get stuck in. This is useful for any student in counselling or psychotherapy, actually gets you excited about research.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
The info in this book is Not quite what i was hoping for and i can only obtain little bits of info suitable for writing a case study as a psychotherapeutic counsellor. If it had been cheaper i would have given it more stars but i think its poor value but that is just my opinion

This is a formidable anlysis of the details of problems surrounding the use of single case studies in research in counselling. I hope it will not, because of its frank acknowledgement of the complexity of the problems surrounding the subject, deter anyone from attempting to use what raw data they have in advancing what we know.
