A title that collects a number of sketches from artist Scott Robertson and one that Titan has brought in for an incredible price. Renowned throughout the game industry you may well have seen a number of Scott's work although perhaps not known it. (He designed vehicles in games such as Field Commander and Spy Hunter 2.) Beautifully put together this offering is more an inspiration for those with an artistic flair as well as giving tips on some construction basics to aid you in your own creative crafts. It's informative, it's carefully selected and above all else it's definitely something that is a joy to flick through for inspiration. A great product.

Very well laid out book with spectacular hand sketches, marker renderings and digital artwork - highly enjoyable to look through especially if you're an Industrial Designer looking for a source of inspiration or to study the body of work/ideas presented in this book to "learn" techniques. The book has from very loose to finished artwork/sketches.

I have followed Scott Robertson's work since I was in college and his work to me has the same impact from the likes of Doug Chiang, Feng Zhu and Ryan Church. I think the attraction of this book is its emphasis on HAND sketches rather then producing digital work one after another.

Well balanced, cleanly presented, highly recommended.

While there is plenty of content in the book too much is devoted to sketches and not enough finished pieces. Personally I am not a fan of the designs in this particular book and found his other books to be much better.

A good, broad collection of drawings in various styles, showing the thought process of the artist quite well. Some of the material does feel a lot like filler, with a few too many pages filled with under developed doodles, with a more limited selection of fully developed ideas. Over all, a good book and worth getting if you or someone you know is into Sci-Fi art work.

well explained, easy to follow and some great artwork from initial sketches to finished drawings. A nice starting point for any one that wants to apply there drawing skills to concept flying machines
