My little boys are completely Star Wars obsessed, so when they spotted this at the library they just had to have it! It's been read many, many times and we've actually had to buy it ourselves, so I would highly recommend it.
Information from the back of the book:
Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and feisty Padawan newcomer Ahsoka Tano embark on a mission to uphold the Republic. In these early days of the Clone Wars, the Separatists are quickly gaining the upper hand with their incredible speed at manufacturing warships - the Republic has been forced to pull back their armies across the galaxy. The Jedi must infiltrate the Banking Clan Shipyards undetected if they hope to hamper ship production, and Anakin has the perfect plan...but getting in is just the beginning!
This is the first graphic novel that my little boys have read and I wasn't sure how they'd cope. I have had to read it to the little one many times, (set aside a good amount of time as it takes quite a while to get through!!), and he is quite happy to sit and look at the pictures for ages now that he knows the story, (he can't yet read it himself). I've never before seen him sit on his own with a book! His older brother has read it many times now, and doesn't seem tired of it yet. If you have a reluctant reader on your hands and they like The Clone Wars, then this may well be a great book to lay your hands on! Even for children who love reading, this is a great story and the fact that it is a graphic novel means it's something a little different to all the school books that they have to read. There are quite a few complicated words in there - the text isn't easy - so I would imagine that it's most suitable from around age 7 upwards or earlier, of course, if the child is an able reader. The story itself is full of action and has a strong storyline throughout which keeps the pages turning. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent Clone Wars adventure comic. The style of the artwork of this 86-page comic-book is heavily influenced by the animated Clone Wars TV / DVD series. It is well-written with excellent characterisation, with even the Clone Troopers showing individual traits. The story features Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, along with their usual gang of Clone Troopers and other regulars from the TV series. They are on a mission to destroy a heavily protected secret spaceship construction facility, and must rescue the workers before the scheduled bombing raid arrives to complete their work...
