This guide is poorly written and formatted.
Although it was re-printed in 2011 the information on public transport and getting around is woefully out of date. Specifically it says you can buy tickets on board the trams from the driver which is no longer the case. It completely fails to mention the excellent value cycle station network.
The layout is frustratingly poor and the maps are so small that they are of no practical use.
It doesn't even mention one of the highlights of a visit to Gothenburg which is the southern archipelago - easily reached by tram and ferry with a one-day ticket.
Although it was only a few pounds I wish I'd not wasted the money on this guide which relies on the name of Thomas Cook to sell it.
