I would recommend this map highly. If you are travelling within the Costa del Sol (quite a large part of Andalucia)it is one of the best because the reverse of the map is dedicated to this region in good detail. I used this map more than the Michelin map which I also took (however the Michelin map does have town centres on it which the Rough Guide doesn't).

This is undoubtedly the best map I have come across for Andalusia. I have gone through so many in the last few years but this one is sturdy, rip-proof and easy to read. It shows many of the mountain tracks not normally marked on other maps (even Michelin)and will be so useful. No more getting lost up a mountain!!

This is a nice clear but very large scale map, with clarity gained at the expense of detail. The waterproof paper is excellent, but the adhesive holding the map to the cardboard cover slightly stronger and stickier than a Postit Note! It fell off leaving an unpleasantly sticky surface, which we eventually rubbed off. I think the Spanish use a system of 'key towns' to which motorway signs refer, (particularly relevant as you try to get out of a city!). If I am right, a touring map like this should explain this and highlight the relevant cities. Summary: useful but not perfect.

This is a well researched up to date guide. We found it brilliant when we visited Marbella recently. I particularly like the material it is made from. Tair proof and waterproof ..all maps should be this way!
