this is a very good autobiography indeed , pallister was a superb defender and should have earned a lot more england caps ,it tells you how pallister got himself from the dole and yts schemes when even is own friends were telling him he could never make it ,managed to get a few games for a non league team progressed to a few months trial at boro on £50 a week , dole was £25 and within 4 years got to man utd . the stories are funny and are straight to the point , pallister is a very likeable down to earth person and the things he say's about ferguson's card school actions and arguments with players could have spilled blood , but thats all part of life working with the best manager . sports fans in general will like this book , utd fans will love it , its one of the best i have read so far.

a wonderful read for any united fan.a slow start but the pace picks up soon enough and develops into a brilliant account of Pallys life at United.Honest and funny at times with detailed info on some of uniteds best and worst moments as well as the best and worst of Pallys career.Once picked up i couldnt put it down and read it in one sitting.A pleasure to read about a great united player and charracter.
