Perfect in every way. Author John Fisher describes his book as the scrapbook Tommy Cooper didn't keep. I agree.
It's a sheer joy from beginning to end which is the way I read it - couldn't put it down. Literally or figuratively - it's great.

My mother met Tommy Cooper when she was a ticket seller in the Odeon Cinema in Hammersmith. He wanted to know what time the lights went on. She presumed he wanted to go to the loo to avoid people recognizing him and pestering him, but apparently he was having an affair with his secretary at the time. She is convinced he was meeting his other woman in the cinema.
This book is really good, quite enjoyed it. Would recommend it to fans.

Dissappointed, it was not what I expected,it was more like na old fashioned childrens álbum, very good for nostalgia as it has posters of the famous people now gone by,but as for factual information about his life it was mssing.
