5.0 out of 5 stars superb
If you liked Hellraisers... get your mitts on this. Hopper, Brando, Beatty & Nicholson, just as baaaaaad as Burton, Olly et al

Beware... not for the faint hearted.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hollywood Hellraisers
I bought this book based on reading "Hellraisers: The Life and Inebriated Times of Richard Burton, Richard Harris, Peter O'Toole and Oliver Reed", a book I really enjoyed reading. I'm 50 pages into "Hollywood Hellraisers" and whilst being an enjoyable read it's not as addictive and easy to read. This would be a very good holiday read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Slightly disappointing..., 23 April 2010

Having thoroughly enjoyed Sellers previous book on British hellraisers, my expectations for this expose on the American wave of hellraisers was understandably high, but left me a bit disappointed.

His writing style on this book was full of British slang & colloquialism's which just didn't suit the very American feel of the character's & subject matter.

That said, maybe the book IS as good as the British one, it's just that the Brits have spawned a better & more entertaining class of hellraiser!

3.0 out of 5 stars lazy, and surprisingly unrevealing, 28 Mar 2011

This is just a cut and paste job - anyone who has read anything about the players here will find nothing new (and nothing very salacious either). Despite some of the exploits descibed here it all comes across a bit tame, sources are thin on the ground. Unsatisfactory.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 17 Nov 2010
This review is from: Hollywood Hellraisers: The Wild Lives and Fast Times of Marlon Brando, Dennis Hopper, Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson (Paperback)
This book is a read on the loo book or one for the plane! There's very little substance and even if you have a passing interest in the actors biographies then you will already know whats contained in this book. Its bit like reading a collection of tabloid stories - a book that you can easily put down and forget about

Took a few days before my order was shipped but then it went really fast. First time for me at Bookspeed and I'm very satisfied. Will use them again. Recommended!
