I have been looking for a book like this for a very long time! It is a clear, concise handbook that is packed with visual examples and tasks that challenge the way you think about screen design. I was also happy to find a lot of practical industry knowledge that has been lacking in other books on the subject. It has made me focus more on the `creative journey', and has given me much more confidence in developing my own ideas. Buy this book now, I highly recommend it!

An excellent book that explores and explains the "design for screen".
It is complete, wide, detailed and at the same time extremely clear. It provides many interesting suggestions and examples of the entire design process.
This book is very helpful for aspiring designers but also refreshing for experts.

This book is really helpful, for those wanting to start in the art department for film and television. It's great because it comes with examples and exercises for you to do to practice and expand your mind about screen design. Plus I love the film references used in the book, which are also very helpful. A must-have definitely!!

Lovely book, feels a little old school, but that's not always a bad thing. Useful guide.
