This book was very useful for me to brush up on my stage fighting techniques, which although I am trained in, I have let slip over the past four years after a back injury. It is full of technical tip-bits, but from a purely personal point of view I would have liked to have seen some step by step diagrams and images rather than a word by word discription of movement. I found that when using the book to work with a novice stage fighter they found it tricky to understand. For something which is visually based I feel diagrams are essential (but as I said this is personal becuase I work in a very visual way). They do however cover the types of weapons and their use and fighting style in depth, which is useful from a knowledge perspective. More of a techincal guide than a practical guide, but still of great use to anyone interested in the subject.
