4.0 out of 5 stars Valuable Reference, 16 July 2011
This review is from: The SAGE Handbook of the Philosophy of Social Sciences (Sage Handbooks) (Hardcover)
This textbook covers the development and history of social sciences including paradigms, assessment and use of social theories. The references to key thinkers and theories provide a helpful refresher on social science history with helpful section summaries and reference sections at the end of each chapter. Not recommended for the casual browser but a valuable reference book. Review provided by Lorraine Simpson on behalf of the SRA (Social Research Association)
