I really felt that this book has helped me understand what the course will entail when I start in September. I have bought it to get to grips with the basics of what I will be learning, and I feel I have really benefitted from this already! However, I do feel it should contain more practice questions to check understanding.
Great book though!

When I saw this book at the WJEC website, I assumed that it would according to the WJEC syllabus. I was sure wrong. It did cover a lot of topics but not all. The topics that were covered were good. If I had had the chance to glance through this book, I wouldn't have bought it, simply because it did not cover 1/2 the topics in AS WJEC

don't see a point of a guide that covers all specifications for most exam boards, bland, and boring... purchased a while back, and felt let down using it for my AQA physics A unit 1 exam, topics are all spread out, quantum phenomena and mechanics should be in separate sections, but no actual organisation in the guid... not worth it... if you want a good guide purchase a colins guide, they are the best.
