Since I moved in with my boyfriend 12 months ago the weight has been creeping on. I didn't notice at first as I seemed to be cooking the same food but just more of it. Taking a look now I realise I eat a lot more carbs and much bigger portions than I'm used to. I tried reverting back to my old diet (mostly light asian broths with seafood) but my poor boyfriend started losing weight too and my mum and his mum thought I was starving the poor thing. This book has been a fantastic answer to my problem. It has easy to cook recipes with ingredients you probably already have in your cupboard. These are balanced with a few more exotic recipes but nothing you wouldn't find in your own supermarket. I also like the book for the variety, some baking, some light suppers, some proper dinner recipes and the desserts are fantastic! The results are genuinely delicious and definitely don't taste like those tasteless low calorie ready meals you get. There have been no complaints from the other half - I think he's grateful for the new variety. Most of the recipes are for 4 people. This is fine as I cook the whole recipe serve one portion to myself, two portions to my BF (so he doesn't starve)and save the fourth portion for lunch at work the next day. PERFECT!! I love this book!

Good selection of recipes from starters to light meals, suppers and desserts. Colourful pictures are attractive. Have made several dishes already and all good and pointed-- no hassle working out points myself.Good recipes even for entertaining

I was very disappointed with this recipe book. It gives some nice recipes only to tell you they wouldnt recommend that recipe as its still high enough in points. I was really disappointed that it didnt give many tips and make the recipes using the tips then give these point values ie- quorn, using a steamer and using spices. It confused me why the recipes were not made with the tips they did have ie use turkey instead for less points. Why not then is the recipe not made with turkey??? I wanted recipes of ww food that had low points I found the ideas were not low pointed enough and not imaginative for low fat food. I gave the book away im not a fan.

Some great recipes, I use at least 3/4 recipes out of this book on a regular basis. The reason I only gave it a 2 star is because, unfortunately, I found that quite a few of the recipes are repeated from previous Weight Watchers recipe books which I already have. This is annoying as I feel like I've paid double. If you haven't got other Weight Watchers books or magazines, then I recommend this book.

As one might expect from Weightwatchers, the receipes are easy to follow and well presented, etc.

BUT

THIS BOOK DOES NOT USE THE NEW PROPOINTS VALUES

it uses the old points system. This is fine if you are using Weightwatchers on line because you can input the receipes and the Points are converted to Propoints. However, if you are not, then it would be very annoying...

I was very happy to find that after I had followed a week of the recipes in the book I had lost 5 lbs in weight.
The recipes are easy to follow have clear instructions the end results have all been a success even my partner has enjoyed eating good balanced meals without feeling as if he was having to endure a carrot and lettuce leaves.

If you serious about wanting to loose weight but also want tasty food then this book is worth it maybe by the time I have done all these recipes I will be on my way to looking and feeling heathy.

This book is fantastic - brilliant entrees some for under 5 points! The chicken tikka curry and the sweet potato and sausage salad are life savers. I didn't feel deprived at all and lost weight steadily.

Have made a few recipes from this book, have turned out quite well and tasty, however, some things need a 'tweak'. I dont own any other WW recipe books, but I do recognise a few recipies in this book, so I would hesitate to purchase another one, espcially based on other reviews of recipes being repeated. However, if you dont own any of their other books, I would reccommend this one. There is a nice balance of sweet and savoury
