"Coronation Street:The Complete Saga" wasn't really complete-it seemed rushed from the mid-eighties onwards. Some characters such as the McDonalds,Dev,Mavis,Sunita and others were either omitted altogether or only given cursory reference.Other major incidents such as Alan Bradley being killed by the tram and Tracey Barlow being sent to prison for killing Charlie Stubbs were left out altogether.
It would have been better if it was released in separate volumes concentrating on each decade such as the 60s,70s,80s and so forth.

Good book for a new corrie fan as it does tell you about long past characters, but so much has been missed out, especially the really funny bits.Think it would have been better to wrire as a series of books perhaps a decade per book.Very easy read.
