My 2 year old son recently obtained a baby brother so needed a new primary caregiver. Enter this DVD and it's sister 'Wheels on the Bus'.

Personally I found it almost painfully cringeworthy the first 50 or so times I watched it. Luckily the intended audience found it spellbinding, but not so spellbinding he sits open mouthed while his brain slowly deteriorates and his bottom spreads to match that of mine in width. Oh no, he sings, dances and shows off his many, many gifts all whilst not destroying my house or asking me to play with him.

In short, this DVD is great and highly recommended, be warned you shall be singing annoying nursery rhymes for days after watching it but nobody will notice, they'll be too busy commenting on the weetabix splattered artfully down your trouser leg.

Ah, the joys of children.

Seriously though, get the DVD, it's brilliant.

My Grand-daughter Heather received this as a gift. She is a 3 year old and loves it. As a parent or grandparent, we watch alot of this sort of dvd's with the children directly or indirectly. Sometimes over and over. It is so well done that one doesn't mind. A good reminder of many songs from our childhood that we have forgotten and could have been lost for future generations.

I bought this for my toddlers a year ago and it has been watched over and over again. they are transfixed by it. My little girl in particular. she knows the words to all the songs and does the dancing as well. It has been watched so many times that when it wears out I won't hesitate to buy it again. I think the chap in the film must have a great sense of humour too! the songs are great too - all the old favourites and they dress up for each different song. doesn't matter if it is cheapply made or not!! you cannot go wrong at this price and the important thing is that the kids LOVE IT!!

I bought this for my 22 month old daughter after reading the other reviews on here and she hasn't stopped listening to it since we took it out of the packaging! I thought she would enjoy the songs, but I have to say that I am amazed as to how much she loves them. There are some popular children's songs and also some that I have never heard of, such as 'Mummy's taking us in the car car' and 'The rain song' but they are all well sung, with some nice location shots and props. It has already been money well spent and I shall now be buying the others in the series too!

Bought this dvd for my 4 year old daughter and was so impressed with it i have ordered the Wheels on the Bus too.
We both dance and sing along to it and its great to learn different rhymes too. The presenter is great at getting into character for the different songs and my daughter giggles like mad when he dresses as a lady! The children in the dvd are lovely too - they just seem really happy and genuine unlike the typical overacting types on many other music dvd's.
Overall Its just very appealing to children from around 18mth +. One of the better nursery rhymes DVD's i've seen.

I bought this in a cheapy shop,ahem, along with 'the wheels on the bus'. What a bargain.....my son was too young at 9mnths to appreciate it last xmas but at 18mnths he absolutely loves it!!!! Will not watch tv or any dvds, I have tried tom and jerry, postman pat etc but to no avail - Tony and the gang are clear outright winners, you may be sick of it by the 4th, 5th, 6th time.....but little one will watch it open mouthed whilst jigging round the room again, and again and again.....

My son has had all these since he was 1 and it's the only dvd that has ever kept him watching. And at 18mths old he can sing every tune. He just starting to do the actions.

this is an outstanding dvd, i got it for my daughter and my sisters girls who are all 23months. The songs are very clear and are just long enough to keep the kids attention it also has children singing with the songs and they are excellent, some of the songs have real animals in the background eg; old mac donald, the children in the dvd do actions to some songs and my daughter loves to join in with this, when this dvd is on she is rooted to the spot the best money ive spent for a long time and my older children join in too!! next purchase must be "the wheels on the bus" from the same company, wish there was more than two dvds from this film company.

My sons, aged 2 and 4, love these DVD's (this one and Wheels on the Bus). The main presenter has lots of energy and is amusingly inventive with his characters, and has a lovely singing voice. The kids are super, and great singers, and they put loads into it. The way the locations change according to the songs is good and keeps it interesting, and some of the songs have the kids singing against simple animated picture backgrounds which my youngest boy really likes.

My eldest son is slightly autistic and not inclined to 'join in' with things, but I have seen him doing the actions to some of the songs when they're on. The songs are all lovely - I didn't know half of them before getting the dvds but they're easy to pick up, and my boys wander round singing bits of them, which is so nice to hear.

There are no ads or idents at the start of the dvd too, it just goes straight in to the menu which is very good.

The singing and dancing to well known nursery rhymes in this "Row row row your boat" and the other dvd by the same producer "Wheels on the bus" is excellent, entertaining good clean fun which my 2 year old daughter loves. She sings many of the songs to me in the bath. Great family friendly product
