As usual Gladwell takes the road less travelled to open up the diamonds of truth in the rough of conformity.

The way the author turns everything on its head and makes you look at things in a completely different way, never ceases to amaze me.
I cannot fully explain my enthusiasm for this book. suffice it to say, my only advice is.... go and read it!!

I love all of this book. I don't think this book is for any one group I think it can be read by most. It is a great insight in to the workings of human mind and behaviour in times of adversity, challenging situations and tragedies. It is a mistakes to think that there is only one way to deal with adversity which is by force and strength in numbers and as this book shows sometimes Goliath doesn't always win!

a bit long. however the case studies are incredible. these stories will give you to rethink how your inner and mental power is much more stronger than you had ever thought...

I'm an great fan of Malcolm Gladwell . I have recommended all his previous books to my friends. His latest effort is a good read but doesn't match the quality of his early ones. The ten stories told in the book are interesting, some very much so, but the central theme of the book is stretched too much to be believable.

Malcolm rarely disappoints, some wonderful anecdotes, brilliant references to the bible. An absolutely first class read and instruction manual for anyone male or female, any team, any department, any nation who need to fight on principles against the "big".

I particularly loved the description of the David and Goliath story, it was told so vividly, I could see it in my minds eye, it made sense and created a series of paradigm shifts in my head regarding the way I have heard the story in the past.

I will read this again and again, just like watching a good film, to spot the subtle nuggets I may have missed on my first reading.

Whenever ones business is suffering from a blocker or a malaise....reach for a Gladwell book.... Just the experience of reding his ideas helps you think through the solutions.

Fine for me and interesting but not the stunning stuff of his other books. Still very worth reading. Buy it.

The book was well written in a classic Malcom Gladwell style. It was Malcom Gladwell at his best. After reading Tipping point and Blink, I thought he was never going to be able to beat his own record. However, it seem he keeps getting better. I will not be surprised if I hear he has won the Noble Prize.

well worth the read. Class sizes is probably the section that spoke most to me. I've never understood why learning in tiny groups helps.
