5.0 out of 5 stars good easy read
it collects together the bulk of the previous books by bernard o'mahoney, an easy interesting read, and a nice insight into the realities of the crimiinal underworld. well written like all his books.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not much new material
I do like Bernard O'Mahoneys books and I've read all his books relating the Essex Boys. I'm just starting to now feel a little ripped off by his new books as they just seem to be a re-hash of his previous ones (most of the material is lifted word for word from his previous Essex Boys books). 2.0 out of 5 stars Not much new material, 7 Aug 2011
This review is from: Trouble in Mind: An Autobiography (Paperback)
I do like Bernard O'Mahoneys books and I've read all his books relating the Essex Boys. I'm just starting to now feel a little ripped off by his new books as they just seem to be a re-hash of his previous ones (most of the material is lifted word for word from his previous Essex Boys books). If he's not got any further new stories to tell I think that he shouldn't just carry on bringing out books that bring nothing new to the reader like me of his previous material. If he brings out any further books I would be wary of purchasing and would read some reviews before purchasing again. I for one would like to read more stories from people who were also involved in the Essex Boys scene, such as the very good book brought out by Steve 'Nipper' Ellis.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very intelligent and fascinating read, 24 Feb 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I've read a previous book by Bernie and I was very pleased to see another excellent book. A very humbling account of his victorious, naughty, wrong done, heart breaking and often very emotional account of his life.
