This "in depth" reference-title,gives me the very best detail info re.model by model development in all main departsments. Helps me chose the right bike for my use.

I recently bought another 1978 R80/7 after a long period away from airheads and enjoyed this read. A useful source of inspiration if you plan to restore an airhead not so much for the technical detail but for the background information. Plenty of photos and history to enjoy but this is not a substitute for a workshop manual. If you are reading this and are already a classic BMW enthusiast then you will in all likelyhood want to buy this to complete your ownership of your airhead.
