4.0 out of 5 stars Great book for a beginners and embroidery lovers a like., 2 Dec 2011
This review is from: Start Embroidery: All You Need to Know to Start Stitching (Paperback)
This book is so detailed but isnt complicated. It has step by step guides(in clear close-up photographs to do each stitches/stages, It has projects (step by step too)to door be inspired to design your own. It explains about the different fabrics, threads(and beads)and equipment, fully explaining what there for etc. It shows basic techniques, sewing tips.. i could go on. My mother did alot of embriodery and still does, admiring how neat it is and knowledge she has, i wanted to get myself started. she taught me quite a few things but this book just really helps me out with the technical side without confusing me, when shes not at hand. You can easily mix and match the projects to like your fancy. Its clear step by step guides is fantastic and the projects are good too. Recommend it to begginers and embroidery lovers a like.
