Christmas isn't Christmas without the Beano annual,

Whether you're three or thirty three you can't help but enjoy the nonsense that is the Beano.A great trip down memory lane for us oldies, and fun for the kids too and all for less than £4!!!! Thats the same as buying two of the comics!

This annual contains. among other excellent works, Billy The Cat vs General Jumbo written by Kev F Sutherland and drawn by Nigel Dobbyn, plus Pluggy Love written and drawn by Kev F, which pupils at his Comic Art Masterclass with be more than familiar with (it's the main strip he shows off in almost every class, with his name hidden in the background of nearly every page).And if you liked that, Kev F long stories also appear in The Beano Annual 2009 and The Beano Annual 2007

Still amusing, but even my daughter (who it was bought for), said that its a shame The Beano is now so politically correct! Perhaps I'll buy her a 'Viz' annual next Christmas.
