5.0 out of 5 stars A magical story for little ones, 6 Dec 2009
By
This review is from: One Magical Day (Paperback)
Another beautifully illustrated and written story by Claire Freedman. My 2 year old and I love to read it at bedtime, but it's also enjoyed at other times of the day. Encouraging discussion and reflection, this book is perfect for younger children, but is so well composed, could be a firm favourite for years to come.

This is, as the title of my review states, my favourite book for bedtime. The rhyme flows soothingly from page to page and each illustration is a beauty to behold, with plenty to talk about if the littl'un's not over-tired. An absolutely magical book, highly recommended for any parent or carer.

This review is from: One Magical Day (Paperback)
My 18-month old girls enjoy looking at the illustrations, which are simple, large, and clear. The illustrations are of various animals and their babies, with background light changing from dawn to dusk and then night. There are 1, 2, 3 or 4 animals on each page, so one can use counting without distraction of numerals.
