A lovely way to be introduced to the facinating world of Kum Nye. Set out in six chapters that explains everything from the essential core of tibetan buddhist relaxation, breathing, self massage, gentle movement and much more. Beautifully illustrated with full colour photos,this is a must for anyone wishing for a more relaxed and fulfilling way of living. Another good one to look out for is Tibetan Meditation which is by the same author Tarthang Tulku.

Kum Nye (pronounced "Koom Neeay") contains elements of yoga, meditation and massage and is rooted in the Tibetan tradition. My first introduction to Kum Nye was through this book; its clear, simple instructions and photos of postures and exercises makes it easy to learn the basics of Kum Nye and there is a surprising amount of detail. Kum Nye is now a part of my life thanks to this book.

A beautiful book...I was inspired to buy this after a day of practising Tibetan Healing Exercises and meditation.
Gentle, very slow moving exercises are described with colour photographs, guidance for sitting and breathing. There is also a section on acupressure/self massage. The whole book is very well presented.

Very good. I bought this book to further my knowledge after going on a training day that featured Tibetan Relaxation.
