5.0 out of 5 stars MY NEW HONED AND TONED BODY
Well, what can I say now that my body isn't carrying much fat! I began this course some two months ago and gave it my all, followed every routine religiously and now I have reaped the rewards.
This regime of workouts is an inexpensive way of toning and honing your body. I can understand how some people might fall by the wayside when it comes to this sort of strict...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice motivational tool
Written by a man who really cares about physical fitness. Bronson will really give you the push you need. Its really no nonsense and does'nt pull any punches. Theres some nice tips in the book which are really useful and its certainly worth a read.
Saying that, the diagrams / pictures illustrating some of the exercises are not good. I'm familiar with most...

5.0 out of 5 stars good for long term progress,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness (Paperback)dunno if the title i put makes sense, but when i followed this following a normal weights program, i did gain a fair bit, quite bulkier, but after the 30 days in the book, i was a bit stuck on what to do next, so i went back to weights, and strength was down a bit, bodyweight for 30 days did me some size but negatives on my strength, so if you want to stick to a bodyweight program, its definitely worth it. but i guess i would say overall yeah its really useful
5.0 out of 5 stars A good read,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness (Paperback)One of the first things that become apparent to you when you first start reading one of Charles Bronson's books, is the fact that he is a brutally honest Man. And having read a few of his previous books in the past, I knew what to expect before I decided to start reading his Solitary Fitness.
I'm half way into the book, and it's very easy to read and follow. The guy knows what he's talking about, and this is evident on most pages. The way in which Charles Bronson expresses himself, and his use of the English language within the book, makes Solitary Fitness a very unique reading experience. Especially when it comes to British fitness guides.
You will probably never read a fitness book quite like this one ever again. It's a straight up, no nonsense, in your face, and easy to read book. If the book is lying nearby, you will find yourself picking it up quite often, and reading random sections of it. It is a very interesting read, whether you are really serious about his fitness plan, or not.
Aside from Bronson's main fitness text, the book is also filled with a selection of his own personal illustrations, along with photographs of the celebrity female body builder - Storm. She models and demonstrates a lot of the fitness techniques that Bronson guides the reader through in the book.
Charles Bronson claims that he could punch you twenty times inside four seconds, which gives us an idea of just how fit, strong, and fast Bronson can be.
Solitary Fitness is recommended reading to those that wish to try Bronson's fitness techniques for themselves, or even if you are just interested in the author as a character of interest. It's a good read either way.
I imagine that this sort of book is ideal for those who cannot bear to workout in the same gym as a bunch of sniggering steroid freaks, who always seem to be huddled together in front of the mirrors.
5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC BOOK!,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness (Paperback)Gives you a great workout, is a fun ready too, this will work for a lot of different abilities and I'd say it is well worth the price. : )
5.0 out of 5 stars Best book I have bought!,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness (Paperback)This book Is a life changer, I have read it all & currently doing the exercises, I can already feel a difference in myself, how a man in his position being in prison isolation for 30+ years & has stayed fit as a fiddle during that time is an amazing achievement, it shows step by step on how to increase muscle mass without the use of steroids or gym membership like all these posers I've seen. When I have completed the whole regime I will send a letter of thanks to Charles. For those who don't like going to the gym because of feeling embarrassed around all these so called muscle bound steroid heads this is the book for you !! All exercises can be done in the privacy of your own home without the fear of being judged,
Best read with clear, simple to follow instructions.
& remember, enjoy exercise & eat your porridge!!
4.0 out of 5 stars Sound ideas on training with limited equipment,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness (Paperback)Definitely would recommend the book, if you are a beginner or at an intermediate training level.
Full of sound practical information on life style as well as exercise
5.0 out of 5 stars If you haven't got much room to exercise this is for you,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness - You Don't Need a Fancy Gym or Expensive Gear to be as Fit as Me (Kindle Edition)Very good book the exercises really work the only thing I
Didn't like was that it is a bit mixed up in some chapters with photos showing exercises
5.0 out of 5 stars extraordinarily brilliant,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness (Paperback)im halfway through this book already and I know if you apply the time Charlie asks of you the results will be phenomenal. easy read and straight forward facts. excellent.
5.0 out of 5 stars Monstrous,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness - You Don't Need a Fancy Gym or Expensive Gear to be as Fit as Me (Kindle Edition)Thought the book was brilliant have used information to build a new impressive body, no guy be kicking sand in my face anymore...
4.0 out of 5 stars Better Than Expected,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness (Paperback)Have no interest in the author at all but I have to say on reading the book and focusing on the 'exercise' part rather than Charlies viewpoints on life. I drew up a 12 minute micro workout on various aspects of what exercises appeal to me and stuck to it. I'm in my 40's and have never felt fitter.
5.0 out of 5 stars Solitary Fitness,
This review is from: Solitary Fitness (Paperback)good book good advice for the likes of myself that prefers to exercise alone ,voluntarily of course, and an interesting read overall
