Companion books have charted designs for cross stitch, one dealing with herbs and fruits and the other with flowers. The charts are easy to follow with good design, although they may need enlarging. The books show some finished projects but there are no actual instructions for these, you would just work them up from the charts. At the back of the books you will find a useful 'technical tips' section. These books provide a bounty of charted designs. This review first appeared on Karen Platt's book review website.
