5.0 out of 5 stars Perspective Depth and Distance (Watercolour Tips & Techniques)
As with all Geoff's books, this is simple to follow and incredibly well put together. Having been on Geoff's workshops, this is the next best thing to actually have him in the room with you guiding you along. Well worth the money!

As with all Geoff Kersey's books this is an invaluable reference to all beginner, and perhaps more experienced, watercolour artists. Perspective is something that is difficult to explain but this book shows by example how to work this out. Highly recommended.

Having just started to paint in watercolours this is an excellent introduction to a variety of techniques.
Recommended by someone on the same beginners course I just had to have a copy.

Good book, but I learned more from a little book called "Perspective and Other Optical Illusions" and from "Geometry of Design".

Also, this book is also part of a bigger book "Watercolour Tips and Techniques" which for about £15 includes three other books: "Starting to Paint" by Arnold Lowry, "From Sketch to Painting" by Wendy Jelbert, and "Painting Mood and Atmosphere" by Barry Herniman.

It's a curious combination, without obvious rhyme or reason, but - if you were (or could be) interested in all these books - is good value. Having recently borrowed the bigger book from the library, I will probably now buy it.

An excellent book. I've admired his work for some time. The exercises are easy to follow and though the results aren't obviously as good as the original, they're very good and you will learn a lot from them.
