Future King and Queen
on 7 May 2015
I read this book on my kindle. I am not particularly interested but think Charles has a lot going for him. I confess I was never impressed by Diana as I thought she was too immature for the role of wife to the heir apparent. I thought she courted publicity for herself in a way that Camilla never has. Because of this, not much is known about Camilla and that, apart from enjoying Gyles Brandeth's writing, is what prompted me to download this book.
It is well written and exceedingly well researched. There is none of the 'sensationalism' that is normally found by anything written about Diana. It is non judgemental and full of history.
I enjoyed reading it, and decided from it's content, that if we are to continue with monarchy, Charles and Camilla will make a good job of being our next King and Queen.
