This is awful. No research, just cobbled together in the days (minutes?) following Malcolm's death. Full of cliches, mistakes and non-sequiturs. Avoid. If I could give it no stars, I would.

This is possibly a hasty publication which seems to have hit the shelves quite quickly after the death of
Talcy Malcy.
It's an easy read...and I guess it doesn't really go into to much depth about the man behind the mayhem.
For that I would recommend The Wicked Ways of Malcolm McLaren...various versions exist...but this has more depth more input I feel.
Anyway...a pretty good read....but....oh I have to be an anorak...Adam Ant was the bass player in Bazooka Joe (Pre Antz)...he is referred to several times as the singer
of that band.
There is a heavy emphasis on the Pistols era..and I guess this is what he was most "Infamous" for ...his later works seem to skimmed over really.
He was quite influential with Duck Rock and Madame Butterfly stuff..ok he wasn't a musician...but I guess the ideas man.
I'm no intellectual...so all the Situationist stuff is over my head...perhaps I should get another book....and get an education
Also got this a while back Impresario: Malcolm McLaren and the British New Wave and if you want to find out more ...it's all good
