This book is a one-off, touching on dark themes like depression and unemployment, in the lightest most sensitive way, so that there is playfulness, humour and compassion on every page. The result is a truly original book with broad appeal, as enjoyable to children for its sense of fun, to dog lovers for its gorgeous photos, and to wizened old-timers after something a little deeper. It's rare to find something so sweet that's good for you too!

As someone who has owned a mini schnauzer in the past I am envious of the owner of Moose who obviously cares tremendously for him as he brings his dogs life to life through his pictures and text

Wonderful photos - but it's the story that keeps me coming back to this book. Witty and also rather deep - a tale that works well for both adults and kids. My favourite book of its kind since Jonathan Livingstone Seagull.

Bought this book as I enjoy East London and Miniature Schnauzers. Pictures are wonderful, story is entertaining and all-in-all a great snap-shot of life in East London today with a cute dog in tow. Did not give it 5 stars as the pictures are so fantastic that it would have been nice to have been printed in a larger format to enjoy the images more. That being said, the size makes a great gift and keeps the price affordable.

I bought "My Name Is Moose" very randomly but I absolutely loved it. Moose is a gorgeous little dog and such a little poser ;) I haven't ever read a book like this one and haven't had a book make me smile before like this one did!!
Passed it round my family and friends and they all liked it just as much as I did!

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my wife from our mini schnauzer just because the photo of moose looks similar to him. I am so glad that I did! This is a fab little book with beautiful photography and a few words telling the story of a year in moose's (and his owner's) life. Think of it as a book of photography that you will pick up to look at time after time rather than a story to read once then never look at again and you will not be disappointed.

I love this book it's so funny, I have a mini schnauzer named Tizzy she is now 5yrs old and was so much like Moose I just had to have this book

This is a book about a very cool dog called Moose (I've seen him around Hoxton, he's that cool I'm surprised he doesn't ride around on a fixie...). It's witty and quite touching and shows off the excellent photography of the author. I'd definitely recommend it as a good present for those people who you struggle to find presents for.

A book of few words- mainly pictures but a lovely story. kind of a coffee table book, ideal for any one who loves schnauzers.
