5.0 out of 5 stars Lancaster Squadrons 44-45 - Another good Osprey title
If you're already into reading Osprey books, you'll certainly enjoy this one.
Focussing on the Lancaster in the last years of the war, it's full of information & photographs (as well as the usual colour plates).

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading title - it's about the aircraft, not the squadrons

Despite its title the book is largely about the role of the Lancaster in WW2 rather than the squadrons which flew it. For instance, my interest is 106 Squadron. There is a colour plate of one of its aircraft and a brief note about that aircraft. That is the only reference I can find to the squadron or to RAF Metheringham where it was based.
