The second novel by Marianne continues with the adventures in the future world featuring Parrish and this lady doesn't soften up as the tale continues. You thought she was a tough cookie in the first outing,
just wait until you see the lengths that she's prepared to go to to achieve her goals. I do however have two queries but my only real grumble is that I think that these novels are way to short and that I'd be interested to see if de Pierres could write something around the 500 page mark. Why do I think that they're too short? Its quite simple really, once picked up theyre hard to put down and with such a delay between releases you really want the next part to continue her adventures. Other than that I do feel that the principle character reminds me of Garth Ennis' Bloody Mary and I'd be interested to see if this has had an influence upon this author. Even so there is space for more than one tough lady out there and her future exploits can only be guessed at currently but needless to say, they'll be harder than hell to achieve and she's the only lady who's got more than a snowflakes chance to succeed.
