My wife needed a copy of this book for her work but, if this had not been the case, we would not have wasted money on it. The idea of the book is good but so many of the examples in it are poor, to say the least. Many are totally outside the child's experience and others are simply crude and out of place in any suitable English textbook. This book illustrates quite graphically the negative influence some academic publishers exert on the education of our young people!

The book provides good hands on practice book, however i was disappointed there were no answers provided. As I am not of an English background, i would rather have a reference point to check the answers which i am not 100% certain of.

I bought this book for my son to do very well. We are going to study and do this book next academic year as he is currently in year 3 in his primary school. Thank you.
