An excellent book for checking out what that strange item you bought with a previously unseen makers mark on. But one thing to watch out for - don't buy this if you are looking for price guidance. The book is very egalitarian in its approach - giving coverage for everything from the little-known potteries to the ubiquitous Doulton, Wedgewood etc. Recommended

A useful basic ceramics guide to include some American producers. Book arrived in good time given that it came from USA
but would have benefited from more packing other than a tight plastic sleeve. It came with sleeve and the corners where
slightly damaged because of lack of packaging. Otherwise a good clean used copy.
