A gorgeous book, impeccably written
on 27 October 2014
If you are fascinated, as I am, by the story of Bletchley Park / Station X / Enigma, then this is a book for you. It is exceptionally well written and is lavishly illustrated with well-captioned, high quality photos, in both colour and black and white. The snow scene covering the second title page as a double-page spread is quite beautiful.
Having visited BP twice in the last 12 months (and I still haven't seen everything I want to see) this book becomes a real treasure : you get to know the people, the place and the work that went on there from many aspects and points of view. It is a very human story and very up-to-date at the time of writing. I give it 5 stars, 'and then some'.
